About the Artist
I am a multidisciplinary artist whose practice encompasses painting, sculpture, and installation. My work explores the fluidity and transformation of the body, identity, and space, often drawing from my personal interactions with the environment. Through an ongoing dialogue between body and material, I create art that challenges traditional boundaries and transforms everyday forms into new, functional entities.
I approach the body as more than just a physical form—it is a device that can be re-imagined and connected to new meanings and structures. In my projects, I experiment with familiar forms and materials to construct sculptural devices that emerge from the memory of the body. Whether through large-scale installations or smaller works, my art seeks to blur the lines between the human form, its surroundings, and the materials that make up these spaces.
My artistic journey often takes me to remote locations, where I engage directly with the landscape to explore the concepts of self, freedom, and identity. In recent projects like Long Summer and Inside, I have worked with natural materials, garments, and forms to challenge societal conventions and explore how clothing, body, and environment intersect. My work is a reflection of the constant adaptation of the body and its ability to transform through interaction with space and material.
Art is not just a process of expression for me; it is a way of navigating and reinterpreting the world. Through my practice, I aim to offer new perspectives on the human experience, inviting the viewer to consider their own relationship with their body, their surroundings, and their sense of identity.
